UT Bottom Inspection
The ultrasonic system is capable of performing thousands of thickness measurements using the pulse-echo method.
The probe is introduced through the inspection manway without the entry of technicians, who will operate the robot from outside.
The application of this technique complies with NR 13 and API 653, potentially extending the tank downtime for the next inspection interval by up to 10 years. More than 1,000 projects have already been conducted in the United States using this technique.
The data collected is processed by our engineers and sent to a qualified professional accredited in API 653 standard.
