Visual Inspection (NR 13 / API 653)

Visual Inspection (NR 13 / API 653)

ASP invested in the most modern technology for inspection in confined spaces, replacing the assembly of scaffolding or even the use of drones inside tanks, silos, reactors, chimneys and other equipment.

Visual inspection of the internal area of the reservoir, structures and installed devices is possible through the use of a state-of-the-art optical scanner, capable of mapping 100% of the interior of the equipment with a very high degree of resolution, detecting small anomalies as it moves inside the tank or reservoir.

The entire process is carried out through external programming of the scanner, which performs the inspection completely automatically.

The great advantage of the methodology lies in the absence of people inside the equipment and consequent exposure to risk.

Another relevant factor is the speed with which the tests are carried out without the need to assemble scaffolding or imprecise and short-term drone flights.

Another factor in the advanced technology used lies in the exact location of the anomalies found, considering that the inspection equipment has sensors that map its distance in relation to the side, roof, entrance and other reference points.

With the use of specific software, anomalies can be digitally dimensioned and thus comply with Standard NR 13 and API 653.
